Copper Unraveling

This page is a tangle of copper wire, a chandelier unraveling into its constituent parts. When you commit to coloring it, you’ll be drawn into a world of intricate details and textures, the smooth glow of the copper giving way to a riot of twists and turns. As you work, the wire will seem to pile up around you, a snarled mess of brown and orange and yellow, each strand overlapping the last. It will cost you time and attention, the delicate balance of colors and shading requiring patience and focus. The ink will flow, a steady stream of pigment as you coax the wire into being, and when you’re done, the chandelier will be reborn, its copper heart beating strong.
